Get a free 2025 vessel safety check at the Wallum Lake Boat Ramp 9 AM - 4 PM Saturday, June 14th! Bring any type of watercraft from kayaks, canoes, PWCs, to ski & pontoon boats for a stem to stern check of equipment for compliance to federal and state safety regulations. Skilled Vessel Examiners are able to answer any boating related questions or concerns and are trained to spot potential problems. They will award your vessel with a VSC decal if it meets standards on items such as registration & numbering, life jackets, fire extinguishers, expiration dates on flares (if required), working navigation lights, etc. A VSC is conducted only with your consent; no reports are filed with any law enforcement agency. There are no citations, legal obligations or penalties on violations or potential problems found. A VSC decal will indicate to law enforcement on the water that your vessel complies with safety regulations. RAIN DATE will be the following Sunday, same time and location.
