Angela Brayton Named Kevin Lodder Scholarship Recipient

At Lakeview Marine, we're excited to share that our General Manager, Angela Brayton, has been named the recipient of the 2024 Kevin Lodder Scholarship by the MRAA Educational Foundation. The announcement was made during Dealer Week at the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas' annual conference in Orlando, Florida, on December 10, 2024. This prestigious scholarship honors Kevin Lodder of Lodder’s Marine in Fairfield, Ohio, celebrating his dedication to the marine industry. The recipient receives tuition for the NCM Associates Total Management 1 Workshop in Sioux Falls, S.D., plus a travel stipend.  

Angela’s journey with Lakeview Marine began 14 years ago when she made a career-changing decision to join our team as a receptionist. At the time, boating wasn’t her area of expertise, but Angela quickly immersed herself in the industry and has steadily grown within the company. She now serves as our General Manager and Showroom Coordinator, constantly striving for improvement in both her own professional development and in the dealership’s operations.

 Angela is committed to improving our daily operations, boosting sales and ensuring we provide top-notch service to our valued customers while fostering a positive work environment for our team. The Total Management 1 Workshop, which is designed for decision-makers and leaders in the marine industry, will provide Angela with the tools and strategies needed to take Lakeview Marine to the next level. This program covers essential areas such as decision-making, inventory management, communication, and profitability, all of which will support her in her mission to enhance the experience for both our customers and employees.
